Story

The Patch

The Cap

A sunny afternoon at Zandvoort in 1963 produced a dual narrative. Pole‑sitter Jim Clark stormed away from the grid and lapped almost everyone, while American driver Dan Gurney charged from 14th on the grid to a remarkable second place. The field featured legends like Graham Hill and Bruce McLaren, but it was Clark’s dominance and Gurney’s charge that defined this classic race. This hat honors both feats.

Size: Adjustable snapback closure for a customizable fit.

Material: Premium cotton twill for durability and comfort.

Design: Structured high‑profile crown with a modern 5‑panel silhouette.

Details: Flat brim (curvable) and reinforced stitching built to endure.

Damask Woven Patch

To create patches capable of capturing the high definition of print material, Damask woven patches were chosen over other methods because they are high-quality, durable fabric patches. This technique produces tight, smooth, and finely detailed pattern fabric, often with a luxurious feel. “Damask” refers to the process developed in early medieval Byzantium, specifically in Damascus, but today, these patches are produced on computerized Jacquard looms. This weave is advantageous as it allows designs to be woven directly into the fabric using very fine thread rather than just embroidered on top, resulting in a sleek, sophisticated, and HD finish.
